The housing project originates from the fundamental premise of achieving a seamless integration with the unique natural surroundings of KAYBE. With the vision of creating a community within an architectural ensemble, the design fosters a direct dialogue with the land, offering residents the opportunity to experience and be present in the Maya worldview of human existence. The project goes beyond providing a space to live; it serves as a threshold—an "umbral"—between the physical world and spiritual perception, inviting those who inhabit it to reconnect with the Earth and the cosmos through contemplation and reflection.
