ARCHITECT

Ian Pablo Amores Muguira is an architect graduated from Tecnológico de Monterrey, ITESM Campus Puebla (2013). He has collaborated with several architecture firms, including Anonimous (project development) and Iñaki Echeverría (professional practices). In 2012, he participated in the seminar Architecture, Phenomenology, and Hermeneutics led by Alberto Pérez-Gómez, the Miami Summer Camp by Designalter, and several workshops taught by Julio Amezcua, Alejandro Hernández, Michel Rojkind, Francisco Pardo, and Enrique Browne (2014). He was also an invited professor at Universidad Anáhuac Querétaro (2016).

In 2014, he co-founded Intersticial Arquitectura with architect Rodolfo Unda Cortés, leading the practice for five years. In 2019, he stepped down from his role at Intersticial to establish ESTUDIO IPA in San Miguel de Allende, Gto, Mx, where he continues to practice.

In 2026, he participated in the Workshop Aires Mateus 2026 in Lisbon, led by Manuel Aires Mateus, with the support of MArch Valencia. This experience further reinforced his interest in spatial atmosphere, abstraction, and the relationship between architecture, landscape, and lived experience.

ESTUDIO IPA has received awards at local architecture biennales, been featured in international publications, and had its work disseminated in prestigious editorials such as Architectural Digest, Wallpaper*, Mexico Design, and Arquine.
